“Billy Witch” At APAC
Astoria Performing Arts Center (APAC) is presenting “Billy Witch,” a new dark comedy by Gregory Moss. The play is running Thurs-Sat through November 17 at 8 PM every night, with Saturday matinees at 2 PM. Here is the play’s synopsis from APAC’s website: “In this quirky, creepy, bawdy comedy, 14-year-old Oliver braves the wilderness to discover change at sleep away camp. Miles away from home, surrounded by pubescent boys and girls, Oliver is not prepared for the life altering transformation he will soon experience. From twisted first sexual encounters, to spooky campfire stories unfolding before his eyes, Oliver’s time at camp is anything but normal.”
Because of adult content, children under the age of 14 are not permitted in the theater. The play is showing at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Astoria.
Tickets are available over the phone (866-811-4111) or online. General admission is $18, with senior and student tickets for $12. BORO readers can get a discount on online tickets ($15 instead of $18) by using the code BWBOROMAG.
