512 Paths To The White House From The NY Times
After you’ve gone out and voted today (because yes, we do expect you to vote), and before election coverage gets underway this evening, be sure to check out the 512 paths to election on the NY Times website.
This interactive page allows you to select a winner in each of the battleground states to see how each will affect the outcome of the election. For example, if Obama wins in Florida, Romney only has one possible path to victory, meaning that he must win all of the other swing states. You can also select multiple states at once to see what bearing that has on potential outcomes.
It’s a fun, and slightly nerve-wracking, way to pass the time before we (hopefully) find out who wins tonight.
